The earlier generation coupe and sedan subframes are a bit more shallow than the newer B5-B7 subframe designs.  This meant getting creative on making the the clearance needed for our 07K subframe and retaining near identical ground clearance to the OE design.
 
Rectangular tube  used in the front crossmember solved any possible ground clearance issue and retains some great strength for this design.  The lowest point in the subframe is identical to OE and allows for the use of our 07K oil pan offering, which retains the OE upper oil pan or "girdle".
 
Comes powder coated black.   This design hard mounts and does not use bushings similar to OE
